Vegan and Sugar free Flapjacks (Granola bars)

Although these still have sugar in the form of maple syrup, stevia and raisins in these flapjacks, there is no refined sugar in here at all.

6 oz coconut oilflapjack
3 tbs maple syrup
3 oz stevia
10.5 oz rolled oats
3 oz self raising flour
3 oz raisins
3 oz nuts coarsely chopped

Method
In a largish saucepan, melt over a low heat the maple syrup, coconut oil and stevia.  When melted add the other ingredients, give a good stir and then pop in a 8″ square tin and level it out.

Put it in a pre-heated oven at 180°C, Gas Mark 4, 350°F and cook away for 20 min, or until golden brown.  You’ll be able to smell it when it is done.

Chop into 16 squares whilst still warm, pop the kettle on, settle down with your favourite hot beverage and a slice of this healthy cake.
