Wild Garlic Focaccia Bread Recipe

I love foraging, and have decided that I shall do even more of it this year.  Why waste any of the bounty of creation?!   So far I have had a nibble of some Jack by the hedge, and am picking wild garlic at any point when I have got time to make something lovely with it.

Last year I made Wild Garlic Pesto and lots of Focaccia.  This year I have made some garlic butter which I have in the freezer, and a lot more of the Wild Garlic Focaccia!  It always goes down a treat with a family meal and freezes so well.IMG_20160502_230856278DSC_0867

It’s started….

allotment haulWell, you turn your back on your allotment for 3 days whilst your friend gets married and another has her 40th birthday party, and the courgettes take over the world!

Am now going back through all my recipes on here and seeing what would be a nice thing to make next!

Courgette Bread & Tomato and Courgette Soup may well be on the table tomorrow evening.

New recipes!

courgette bake

It’s got to that time of year again where I have vegetables and soft fruits coming out of my ears, so I            have just popped a couple of new recipes up on here.

One to make a yummy Blackcurrant and Rhubarb Jam, and jam                the other for a Gluten free Courgette Slice.

Enjoy.

Courgette Glut saga continues

Having not been to the allotment for a few days as I’d been visiting my best friend from YEARS ago, we just went to the allotment and picked up a further 10 courgettes of varying sizes from the allotment.  That’s to top up the 8 that are already in the fridge!! Since I’ve got back, I’ve made the Courgette and Raisin Muffins and Courgette Bread Rolls, but I split it up into 15 round rolls, popped them on to a full size baking tray, and they are cooking away as I type.   I’ll have to take a few of them to church tomorrow to share the blessing, and then make some chutney next week!
